“I grew up on Grosse Ile, born and raised. I moved to Southgate and then moved back to the island and in with my parents so I could take care of them.
My Mom and Dad always knew that when they were gone I wouldn’t stay in their home. My Mom was very good at leaving notes along with detailed instructions for everything. One of her notes said “when it comes time for you to sell the condo, give Jan Smith a call.” Mother’s are always right! I called Jan and everything just fell into place. We found and adorable home in Wyandotte in the exact area were looking for and couldn’t be happier.
Soon thereafter, I needed to consolidate their/my home and empty out a very large condo with an endless amount of stuff. Jan was instrumental guiding me through the process. She put me in touch with an auction company where I was able to sell a valuable antique, as well as an estate sale company to handle the contents of the house. Jan was always in constant communication during the long 5 months. Jan made an extremely emotional time in my life, a heck of a lot easier! Moving is so hard!!
